

If you select Share My Packages, PDQ Deploy creates a database of your shared folders and packages at the designated path. A database is automatically created at this path for each console configured to share packages. IMPORTANT: Every PDQ Deploy console that is configured to share or access shared packages must use the same path. Click the Open Directory Location button to view the location of the folder. The UNC path to an accessible shared folder where PDQ Deploy stores your enterprise’s shared databases. When you select this option, other administrators’ shared folders and packages display in your PDQ Deploy console tree under Shared Databases. ( Enterprise Activation is required on each console.) To disable sharing for an individual package or package folder, select the package or package folder in the tree, right-click, then select Item Sharing > Not Shared. Sharing is permitted only between multiple-user accounts with Enterprise Activation on an Enterprise license. NOTE: This feature is available only in Enterprise mode. IMPORTANT: Sharing has been superseded by the new Central Server feature and will be removed in a future version. The Sharing settings allow you to share your PDQ Deploy packages and access shared packages from other administrators who belong to the same PDQ Deploy Enterprise license.
